Leatherhead
Leatherhead is located in north-central Surrey on the river Mole.
Leatherhead's town centre is relatively large in relation to its population of less than 10,000, reflecting its role as a shopping centre for neighbouring villages also.
The town is centered around the pedestrianised High Street; this runs gently downhill and leads in Bridge Street, which crosses the River Mole. Church Street and North Street spur off the High Street.
The Swan centre is a small shopping precinct off the High Street and includes a good-sized Sainsbury's supermarket (opposite which is a community events noticeboard). There is a Lidl store on the west side of the town centre.
The Leatherhead Theatre, on Church Street, shows plays and films whilst further along Church Street is Leatherhead Museum.
Leatherhead Leisure centre is located south west of the town centre.
The M25 can be accessed closeby at junction 9. Leatherhead railway station has services to London Victoria and London Waterloo, and a limited number of services to London Bridge.
