Cobham
The town of Cobham is located on the River Mole in the North of Surrey, between Leatherhead, Weybridge and Esher.
The town is centred around the High Street, which includes a library, post office and community events noticeboards (on the junction with Hollyhedge Road). There is a Waitrose supermarket in the town centre, and a larger Sainsbury's supermarket close to the A3 junction to the North of the town.
A short walk South of the High Street is Cobham Mill (shown opposite), which is powered by the River Mole. The eighteenth century landscape gardens at Painshill Park are close to the A3 junction whilst the Royal Horticultural Gardens at Wisley are a short drive along the A3.
The A3 London to Portsmouth trunk road can be accessed to the North-West of the town, and can be used to reach Junction 10 of the M25 (alternatively, Junction 9 can be accessed via Leatherhead). A mile to the South-East of Cobham is the village of Stoke d'Abernon, in which Cobham and Stoke d'Abernon train station (on the Guildford to London Waterloo line) is located, as well as the Chelsea Football Club training ground.
The town's schools include ACS International (which has a further Surrey site in Egham) and the Yehudi Menuhin School in Stoke D'Abernon.
