Haslemere
Haslemere is located in south-west Surrey, close to the borders with Hampshire and West Sussex.
The centre of the town is the wide High Street which includes a number of independent shops and boutiques along with a nearby Somerfield supermarket. Also in the town centre is Haslemere Hall, a cinema and theatre.
North-west of the town, near Hindhead, is the Devil's Punchbowl, a large valley with a viewing point at Hindhead Common.
The A3 can be accessed at Hindhead (see link regarding planned dualling of the A3 near Hindhead). Haslemere railway station is on the Portsmouth to London Waterloo line.
