The village of Chobham is located around 3 miles North-West of Woking.

At the centre of the village, on the High Street, are older buildings housing shops and restaurants, along with St Lawrence Church (see aerial photographs). Also in the village are Chobham Cricket Club, Chobham Tennis Club and the village hall.

To the north is Chobham Common, an area of heathland which is a National Nature Reserve.

The closest railway station is at Woking for mainline services to London and the south-west. The M3 motorway can be reached at Junction 3 (Lightwater) and the M25 at Junction 11 (Chertsey). There is a private aerodrome, Fairoaks Airport, between Ottershaw and Chobham.
